SEO'S MEMBERSHIP INTO IOSCO AND IRANIAN EXCHANGES' MEMBERSHIP INTO WFE
One of the outcomes of the SEO’s membership into IOSCO has been the success of the Iranian exchanges including the TSE, IME and IFB to become an affiliate member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE). The WFE or International Federation of Stock Exchanges is the trade association of 63 publicly regulated stock, futures, and options exchanges. Its market operators are responsible for operating the key components of the financial world.
The SEO became a member of IOSCO last March and it will continue to facilitate the process of the internationalization of the Iranian capital market via getting linked to globally significant associations and authorities.
